25-11-2008: Putting doctors and experts together

GP members of the website doctors.net.uk were able to feed in their own experiences of the pressures within practices and problems with changes to health care. In a special podcast, Dr Nick Goodwin, senior fellow of the Kings Fund and co-author of the report, responded to their frustrations and was asked to explain why the independent health think-tank is supporting a continuation of this government policy.

This valuable access to leading advisers gives doctors greater involvement with those attempting to shape the future of health policies. The immediacy of this type of podcast means that users can read published reports, respond with questions and hear the outcomes within hours.
