13-07-2009: Chief Medical Officer communicates swineflu information through LimeGreen

LimeGreen facilitated an interview with the Chief Medical Officer Professor Sir Liam Donaldson who needed to speak quickly to as many GPs as possible who felt they weren't getting the right information they needed to help patients worried about or contracting swineflu. Speaking from his London office, Sir Liam answered questions submitted by doctors from around the UK. He was able to give them the latest information on the virus and vaccine production as well as correcting some of the misconceptions which continue to abound regarding the pandemic flu outbreak. The interview has so far been downloaded - from doctors.net.uk's website for the medical profession - by more than a thousand GPs and other doctors. Sir Liam, the UK's most senior doctor, has been pleased with the speed in which he can communicate with the medical professioin through podcasting and plans to update them again on swineflu, using LimeGreen's services and expertise in the health sector in coming months.
